Holmes HFH105 1500-Watt Portable Electric Space Heater
Let me tell you these little electric space heaters saved my bacon last winter. I use my boat a lot in the winter for fishing and if you don't blow them out the water stays inside and can freeze leaving you with a $200 bill. Well it wasn't quite winter yet and I totally forgot to do it. We have an arctic blast heading our way and that morning I remembered I forgot. So.... Want Some Versatility Out Of Your Holmes HFH105 1500-Watt Portable Electric Space HeaterI created a shelter and stuck one of our space heaters in the shelter built around the boat motor. I cranked it on high for 4 solid days and believe it or not, that little holmes heater (under $25) melted the water and you could see the frozen ice dripping out of the prop. I had no idea which compact heater we had so afterwards I checked it out and it was the Holmes HFH105 1500-Watt Heater. We use our portable electric space heater under the deisel truck as well. Our internal heater on the truck blew out and I didn't have the money to fix it at the time so the dealership told me to get one of those little space heaters and turn it on under the motor. It did it's job and allowed us to have easy startups every morning we used the truck. Side note, it did warm up the garage enough that all the snow melted onto our garage containment mats we just installed the week before. Those little SZ-HFH105-UM_WHT heaters are worth their weight in gold. We love em and use them all the time, just not indoors. I have had many comments from viewers on this heater and a lot of folks use them in the bathrooms. Holmes HFH105 1500-Watt Portable Electric Space Heater
First and foremost, don't use these small portable heaters with an extension cord. Yes, you might get away with it for a while but it will come back to bite you in the butt. Follow Holmes instructions and use it wisely. The HFH105 is a 1500 watt heater but it does have two settings. The other setting is 1000W and it's easy to switch over and back. It comes with a pedestal base, but if you have it under your desk be careful because it is easy to tip over. It's best to prop it against something to eliminate tip over.
